Halloween is probably my favorite holiday, so I decided that I should probably get a little more festive this year. I usually don't decorate for holidays, other than Christmas, but I'm finding myself loving Halloween more and more each year, so I wanted to do something more this time. I found all of my Halloween items at Dollar Tree...and with a little spray paint, I was able to change them into looking not so cheapo! I love my spray paint:)
I started with the mantle, and also added the fun banner from Target (it comes in a kit for us non-crafter types:)
While I was at the store, I noticed they were starting to get their Christmas stuff out, and saw some cheapie wreaths...so I grabbed 2, layered them on top of each other, and sprayed them black...
Then I placed this little crow guy inside the wreath...
I didn't do a lot, but for around $8, I think it made a big impact! Don't underestimate shopping at any type of store for decor...again, you don't have to spend a lot of money to make changes within your home. Happy Halloween decorating to you all!!
