Throw Pillows

It's always said that the quickest way to change the look of a room, is to change out, or add, throw pillows.  I'm not afraid to admit that I have a pillow obsession...I can't help it, they are just so dang pretty, and make any room look so much better!  I love switching out pillows when I am getting bored with my current look, and it helps to satisfy my desire to completely change the entire room:)  Here is a little round-up of some I am loving right now!

The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays.  I love spending the day with family...barbequing, playing outside, warm weather and fireworks.  What more could you want?!  I put together a little round-up of some cute 4th style clothes for the big day!

AZ Getaway

 

The hubby and I took a little getaway last week, just the 2 of us.  It was so wonderful, so relaxing and just what I needed!  As much as I love being able to stay at home with my kids, sometimes you just need a little breather!  We flew to Arizona for 4 days...swam, ate, slept, shopped, ate some more...it was wonderful:)

 

Matt was "guest of the day" one of the days...all we know is we got free food and drinks on that day, so it was awesome for us!

 

We were staying in Scottsdale, and since they have the best mall ever there, of course we had to go (well, of course I had to go!)

 

It was so nice to be able to go to fancy restaurants and just take our dear sweet time!

Sometimes you just need to get a break from your everyday responsibilities and recharge.  I know I came home to my kids a much happier and well rested mom!  It was worth every second!!

Playroom Reveal

The playroom is finished!  I finally feel like there is some organized chaos going on in there, and I'm so happy!  It's a little bold and bright, and a lot is going on in this little room, but thats the way I think a playroom should be!  I feel like it gives the kids freedom in being creative and expressing themselves in any way they want.  Its busy...but so are my kids.  So far, they have been having a blast and spending so much time in there and that makes me so, so happy!



 To save money on window treatments, I made this little art banner for my kids to display all their masterpieces!  My kids are colorers...and they are always wanting me to hang every picture up, but I never know where to put them all.  So this little banner has been a great solution.  

   

 We rotate the pictures often so they all get a chance to be hung...small ribbon, clothes pins and large push-pins are all I used to make this.
