DIY Dot Art

If you follow me on Instagram, you have already seen these diy pics I posted, but if you don't (then do! @melissareys:), I made some fun wall art pieces thanks to a tutorial by Danielle Oakey.  They were so easy to do, mostly using things everyone has laying around their house.  The fun part for me was painting the mat on the picture.  I don't know why I haven't thought about that before, but the choices are endless really, and it makes such a different statement than a plain white one.
Here is the original tutorial I followed.   And here are how mine turned out:

Super fun and easy, right?!  I'm pretty sure this could be used for any room in the house!  Love a fast, cheap diy!

Hi Stephanie! The nightstands are actually from Target, like 2 years ago:( But the Pier 1 nightstands are much better quality than these I have! Just an fyi:)
